John Huddy at Art Of The Book has over thirty years of experience undertaking valuations
for private and corporate clients for Illustration and Fine Art.
Along with assisting artists, collectors, families and estates with management and planning, John has been commissioned to collate inventories and produce formal valuations for insurance, exhibition loan, probate and notably the Acceptance in Lieu Scheme on behalf of the the UK government and its associated institutions.
John also regularly assists enthusiasts and collectors wishing to obtain valuations for artwork on an informal basis, to assist with planning for acquisition or dispersal of original artwork, such as with the recent estate sale of Anthony Maitland.
John is always happy to engage in discussion and advice on this matter without obligation. As a consulting specialist for the Art Advisory Group, John is able to collaborate with colleagues to obtain specialist knowledge of all areas of the art market.
